The Village is known for its colored houses that come from the "ochre" (local naturally coloured red-orange stones that you find in the region). Roussillon offers restaurants, cafes, boutiques, souvenir shops, bakery, butcher shop, mini-market, and a very beautiful weekly farmer's market with natural products of the region.
